Off-label and Off-licence Drug UseĀ ā MM1506
Off-licence use of drugs relates to the use ofĀ drugs that are unregistered by the MCC for useĀ in humans. Off-label use of drugs is, on the otherĀ hand, extremely common especially in paediatricĀ practice. Off-label use means that the medicineĀ is used in another way or for an indicationĀ other than those specified in the conditions ofĀ registration of the medicine and as reflected onĀ its labelling.
